
Grapefruit, Honey, and Rosemary Smash

This bright, mild, citrusy drink is full of fall flavor, and easy-drinking enough to please even those who aren't "cocktail people." Make it a mocktail by simply leaving out the bourbon or vodka, or adding a little plain or grapefruit soda water.
INGREDIENTS
3 c. fresh pink grapefruit juice, plus 2 pink grapefruit, cut into wedges
1/4 c. honey
1 (6-inch) sprig fresh rosemary
1 1/2 c. to 2 cups vodka or bourbon
1/2 c. fresh lime juice (from 3 or 4 limes)
DIRECTIONS

1. Combine 1 grapefruit worth of wedges, honey, and rosemary in a large pitcher; mash with a muddler or wooden spoon. Add grapefruit juice, vodka or bourbon, and lime juice; stir to combine. Serve over ice garnished with remaining grapefruit wedges.

This sweet bourbon-based take on the traditional sidecar
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp. sugar, for glass rim
2 oz. bourbon
1 oz. fresh Meyer lemon juice
1 oz. orange liqueur (such as Cointreau)
DIRECTIONS

1. Place sugar on a small plate. Place a small amount of water in a second plate. Dip rim of a cocktail or martini glass in water, then in sugar.

2. Combine bourbon, lemon juice, Cointreau, and ice in a cocktail shaker; shake until very cold. Pour into prepared glass.
Boulevardier (Bourbon Negroni)

Save this stiff, complex twist on the classic gin drink for your favorite guests or family members. It's perfect for whetting appetites, or for cutting through the fog of a heavy meal.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz. bourbon
3/4 oz. sweet vermouth
3/4 oz. Campari
Orange peel, for serving

Combine bourbon, sweet vermouth, Campari, and ice in a cocktail shaker; shake 30 seconds. Serve with an orange peel.
Spiced Cranberry Punch

Spiced rum and tart cranberries make for one very festive punch.

1 1/2 c. spiced rum
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lime juice
Cranberries, for serving

Pumpkin Spice White Russian

Now you don't have to decide whether to have an after-dinner drink or dessert. With this recipe, you can enjoy both!
INGREDIENTS
4 gingersnap cookies, crumbled
1 tsp. honey
3/4 c. coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
2/3 c. vodka
1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
3/4 c. heavy cream
DIRECTIONS

Place crumbled cookies on a plate. Rub rims of 4 glasses with honey. Dip in cookie crumbs to coat.

Whisk together coffee liqueur, vodka, and pumpkin pie spice in a measuring cup. Pour in to prepared glasses, dividing evenly; top with ice. Divide 3/4 cup heavy cream evenly among glasses and serve immediately.
